Tips and tricks to look thinner

We're following a healthy diet, working out 5 days a week religiously.We're getting healthier by the day and soon will reach our goal, but still got a few weeks or months before we get to our goal. But its a slow process and sometimes can be frustrating because we wanna have that hour glass figure and we want it NOW!

Now the solution for that is to camouflage our under comings with clothes. For this we need to get a full length mirror first. Take a look at yourself in the mirror and see which areas do u want to camouflage. Our goal should be to get a symmetrical look from top to bottom.

  1. Wear correct fitting under garments. This seriously breaks or makes your figure.
  2. Try V- shaped necklines. They make your neck look longer.
  3. Avoid spandex type fabric which magnifies the bulges of our bodies.
  4. Avoid ruffles, trims on the chest if you are top heavy.
  5. Make sure that your pants are not pleated if you have heavy bottom.
  6. The pant should cut off at the shoe and not the ankle which makes you look heavier.
  7. Avoid boxy jackets. Go for semi fitted jackets instead.
  8. Avoid baggy clothes. They donot make you look smaller. Choose clothes that fit correctly.
  9. Always walk tall. Do not hunch. The right posture makes a lot of difference. Stand up straight, pull the stomach in and the shoulders back. You'll look a lot more confident too.
  10. Avoid horizontal stripes as they add some pounds to your look.
  11. To camouflage the tummy, wear over blouses with slimming fit, which cuts off at the waist/hip and not bellow.

Curryleaf oil

I've seen this recipe for curry leaf oil in a tv show and have been following this for about a month now and like what its done for my hair. Do give it a try.

1 cup oil
1 cup curry leaves
1 tbsp methi seeds.

Take 1/4 cup of oil and add the methi seeds and fry till they change color. Add the curry leaves and fry till they change into a greenish brown color. Add the remaining oil and let it heat . Switch off and when cool, drain. Store in a jar.Warm the oil and apply to hair .

Inkoka chinna chitka that I learnt from cosmetology course - it is okay if you lose few hairs everyday - its like losing ur dead hair and it will help you to grow new and healthy hair.

Tips for reducing Dradruff n Hair Loss

Like everything else about true, lasting beauty, healthy hair begins within your body. Start with your diet. Include lots of green leafy vegetables and sweet juicy fruits. Dairy products such as milk and fresh yogurt will also help. Fresh coconut is also considered excellent "hair food" -- sprinkle grated coconut over salads, diced fresh fruit, or rice.

** A warm oil scalp massage two or three times a week will help stimulate and moisturize the scalp. You can use good quality coconut, almond or olive oil. Apply some mildly warmed oil to your hair and gently massage into your scalp evenly with your fingertips. Leave on overnight if you can, if not, leave on for at least an hour or two, then get it out by shampooing your hair. The scalp massage helps you relax and aids sound sleep as well.

** Never attack wet hair with a brush, no matter how rushed for time you are. Tangles in wet hair are best removed with a wide-toothed comb. Use a wooden comb if you can find one; it won't generate static electricity. Excessive blow-drying can damage hair in the long-term, making it brittle and causing split ends. If you can, let your hair dry naturally, then brush into place.

** Heat coconut oil n add lemon juice to it.. Apply it to the scalp n massage the scalp atleast ½ hr before taking head bath.. It helps in reducing dandruff as well makes hair to look good.

** Olive oil, coconut oil, menthulu (seeds), kesavardhani oil heat chesi oka box lo posi pettukuni vaadutunnanu....hair fall theliyatledu kaani hair maatram baaga soft ayindi.

1 fist full menthulu
1/2 cup kesavardhini oil (indian stores lo vuntundi.....maku ikkada indo-pak spices lo vundi)
Mix all of these n heat them… Let it cool n filter it if required..

** Hair loss ki weekly once idhi try cheyandi ..
make a paste of neem power( indian grocery lo vuntundi) + amla powder and appy id on the scalp 1/2hr before taking head bath . dheeni valla dandruff kooda raadhu . Also use badam or amla oil .

Home Beauty Tips

Here are a few home beauty tips that you can try using things from the kitchen without any extra cost.

* To remove puffiness from the eyelids, massage a drop of very fresh castor oil on to them.

* To cool your eyes, make eye pads using thick slices of cucumber. Another option is to use cotton pads soaked in cold milk. Lie down and place them on your closed eyes and relax for a while.

* Putting a drop of rose water into each eye just before you sleep can also refresh you eyes.

* To prevent your lips from chapping, use hot water fermentation on your lips and then apply a mixture of vaseline and honey. Apply this mixture about three times a week.

* To prevent your lips from drying you can use a ground mixture or rose petals and milk butter.

* To delay age spots on your hand, use a piece of lemon and rub all over your hand, before washing. This will delay onset of age-spots.

* If you have no time to shampoo your hair before going out, then brush 1 tablespoon of talcum powder or corn flour through your hair. Try this out first when you are not in hurry to make sure that it works the way you want.

* To prevent hair loss you should have a biotin rich drink. Blend bananas with honey, yogurt and low fat milk. Drink this for a few weeks.
While blow drying and setting your hair, blow-dry at hot on the roots of the hair. Roll your hair inwards or outwards at the ends. To improve the setting make sure the ends are evenly rolled in or rolled out. Heat the hair for a second and then let it cool. This process of setting the hair will last longer and make your hair look beautiful.

* To condition your hair, after shampooing your hair take some conditioner on your palm and rub it with both hands. Apply from the hair shaft moving downwards. Do not apply on your scalp. Rinse your hair after 5 minutes.

* To add extra shine and glow to your hair add 2 tablespoons of malt vinegar. Use it as a last rinse and towel dry your hair.
